What is VisualRoute?
VisualRoute is a network diagnostic suite that combines traceroute, ping, whois, DNS lookup, and route mapping into a single tool. It shows hop-by-hop latency and packet loss, maps the geographic path of your traffic, and identifies where on the route a problem is occurring.
How long is the free trial?
15 days, with no credit card. The trial runs the full Advanced Edition feature set so you can evaluate continuous tracing, history, and DNS response testing.
Which operating systems are supported?
VisualRoute 14.2b runs on 64-bit Windows 10 and Windows 11. See System Requirements for details.
Do I need Java?
Yes. VisualRoute 14.2b requires a 64-bit Java Runtime, version 11 or later. Most modern Java distributions work, including Adoptium Temurin and Oracle JDK.
Do licenses expire?
No. Licenses are perpetual. Annual support is optional and covers priority support plus free upgrades to new major releases.
Can I install on multiple machines?
Yes. When buying a license you choose how many machines it activates on. Seat counts are available in 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 10, and 25. For larger deployments, contact us for a quote.
What is the difference between Personal, Advanced, Business, and SupportPro?
